NAPIT members emergency works register
NAPIT members can now identify as an emergency certified tradesperson during the current COVID-19 pandemic.
NAPIT have launched a new consumer ‘emergency call outs’ preference on the NAPIT website to support those members who are still carrying out emergency repairs and maintenance and to also help consumers find a reliable and certified tradesperson during this difficult time.
The current guidance is for tradespeople to continue carrying out essential repairs and maintenance where they can and providing that the tradesperson is well and has no symptoms of COVID-19.
For members to identify themselves as available to carry out emergency works to consumers, they can select their preference on the NAPIT site at www.napitonline.com
Members can change their preference at any time. This will be important if members circumstances change between being willing and able to work, or not.
We have included some general advice on how to work in peoples’ homes safely for those members who find themselves in that situation:
It is important to ensure that the Public Health England guidelines, including maintaining a 2 metre distance from any household occupants, are followed to ensure everyone’s safety.
